Dr. Rebecca Watts, Vice Chancellor for P-16 Initiatives at the Ohio Board of Regents, spoke to the council, congratulating them on their collaborative efforts in behalf of the 52,000 students in the nine county region. She urged the group to continue watching for upcoming funding possibilities and consider submitting applications. She offered kudos to the group for their commitment, saying they could become a model to other areas of the state and urged them to share their story…Her final words to the group were “Don’t be quiet about this.”
