Dr. Michael Fuller, MVESC Director of the Center for Innovation and Data Services, shared important data regarding college enrollment, college completion and stop-out information.
We very much enjoyed Mike’s unique way of helping council members understand important student data for our region!
Additional presentations included:
- Panthers Partners by Ann Hankinson and Erin Schumaker, New Lexington City Schools employees – We heard about a new exciting program where education and business are teaming up to create student internships, including the successes of this project and how this initiative is helping students focus on their future!
- Stop-Out Program by Molly Dunn, Zane State College Director – We learned about strategies that ZSC used in closing the gaps in education completion with the goal of creating a stronger workforce for our 9-county area!
